We are not even in KY yet and we are making friend that live there. We had a bad rain storm the first night site 10 got here and when we drove by we say that their tent was soaked and rained out but no one was on the site. They must have got there just as the rain came so they went into town to get dinner or something to wait for it to pass to set up. We see that they drive in and since we knew about their tent we went over to help them set up this is when we met our friends from KY the Harr's
After getting them set up we let them know that we are on 11 if they need anything I head down to work. I get home Todd said they invited us over for wine and to play a game but this was on a busy night and we had to host so we could not go over. Last night we decided to go over and chat with them see if they needed anything. We were greeted with their cell phone numbers, email address and names and were told since you will not know anyone in KY please if you need a face, friend or are in a bind do no hesitate to call us. It is awesome to know we will know someone in KY :-)
We sat around the fire and talked for 2 hours I tried a glass of red wine it was very tasty but I can not remember what the name was. They offered Todd a red strip which is his favorite beer we just sat around the fire talking about our animals our travels and how much they would love to do what we are doing. They informed up that we are some of the best camp hosts they have ran into. We felt special they said you should feel special we never invite people into our site let alone their house LOL....
We woke up this morning went over to wish them a safe journey back home. We made some great friend's we will for sure be contacting them maybe for dinner or just to hang out. Hope you guys had a great stay at Bear Tree it was so nice having you and making some great friends!!!
