Dinner, Bon Fire and Great Friends

Last night we went to Buzz and Jackie's for dinner. Jackie is an amazing cook, she cooks everything fresh and never fry's anything. She made us a delicious dinner it was teriyaki chicken with a sauce that was to die for sweet corn on the cob and red skin potatoes. We sat down and enjoyed it with a glass of wine. I am a very picky eater here and I LOVED every bit of it I was so stuffed after dinner I could not even drink anymore wine.

After dinner I offer to help her clean but everyone knows that a RV kitchen is only so big so she sent me out to sit by the fire. The fire was blazing and it was a dry night for a change no rain at all except a short time during the day!! The guys are drinking beer talking about their bar stories, Both Todd and Buzz have both ran and managed bars when they were younger so they have a lot of great stories to trade. Jackie and I are listening in and talking about our Chihuahua's she has a apple head named Harley and I have a deer head named Sambuka. Our love for Chihuahua's are mutual so we could sit and talk about them for hours on end :-)

Ian Mike and Melissa's son joined us later on the way down to pick up his mom from work. Drank a few beers and talked with us as well. Of course Sun, Buzz and Jackie's dog who is part wolf and white Siberian husky the most beautiful dog you ever seen love's Ian so he gave him lots of kisses.

All of this made for a great night we are sad to leave on Sunday. We only wish we would have started hanging out with Buzz and Jackie sooner but it is hard when you have to host and they are in a different loop then you. We have made friends for life and we are going to make it appoint to cross path later on hoping that we will travel together west in the summer. Great food Great friends will always make a place hard to leave but as I always say in this lifestyle with wheel leaving will always be something that will be hard to do.
