First Day At Amazon!

We woke up at 6:45 am Todd was really cranky before he had his cup of coffee now he is better

We have to be at work at 8 am checking for directions for the campground we are only 5 miles from the center. Leaving the house we prepped it for the animals AC on lot's of food and water and away we go. 

We stop at the gas station for a quick drink and on to the center we go our GPS is always off so  we pass the entrance we have to turn around geesh this road is very busy we sat for 5 minutes to wait to turn around. The gate guard was very helpful pointed us in the correct destination and we are super excited to get in there.

We walk in and there are about 30 people all waiting in the lobby for Kelley and Jenifer to come get us and let us in the facility. We are greeted and brought in the first order of business getting all the our tax forms, and direct deposit forms completed and turned in. Thank goodness I put my makeup on this morning next on the list was ID badge picture's Smile Pretty loll... 

Now we are on our way through the facility to the new hire orientation room it was warm in the plant but let me tell you i froze my butt off in the orientation room. We are watching movies and listening and taking in A LOT OF INFORMATION. Kelley is a great speaker he makes it interesting since you are sitting there from 9-1. 12:55 pm rolls around everyone is hungry we are headed to lunch now yummy I am starving I have 30 minutes to fill my belly.

Stuffed and ready to take a nap well the nap is not going to happen we are on our way to safety school wooo hoo. We have an ambassador that is walking us around the plant and giving us demonstrations about safety, quality control, proper lifting techniques, etc.... Josh was our ambassador very knowledgeable and helpful. We were in safety school from 1;30 pm- 4 pm.

We meet Kelley & Jenifer in the break room for a surprise for our first day and a group photo. Our surprise was a really nice back pack with a lot of goodies in it our group photo went great and we are released for the day. Overall the first day we great tomorrow we have to arrive at 5:55am AHHHH i just should a cup of coffee or 2 on standby first thing in the morning for Todd since I know he is going to be cranky at first. Tomorrow we are doing TWI (training within the industry)
