Well we woke up bright and early this morning because we start working today as hosts. I work down at the gatehouse checking people in and helping anyone with any question's basic customer service stuff. Todd works in the loops keeping the sites clean and making sure people can buy firewood and answer any question's the campers may have.
My first day in the gate house went really well I catch on to things really quick, I trained with the asst manager Melissa who is a very down to earth person. We only work 4 hours a shift so it went by really fast because I was soaking up all the information she was telling me. Todd's first day was even easier he went around with Melissa's husband Mike and met all the other host's. Then went into town 7.8 miles and they picked up fuel then came back and talked to us at the gatehouse until it was quitting time 2pm that is the life start work at 10am and get off at 2pm. After we got off we decided that we needed TV so we called Directv got a really good package deal got it all set up to be installed on July 5th also thanks to our new friend's Snookie and Bob we got $10.00 off our bill for 10 months and so do they.
After we set everything all up we went home and made dinner and made a fire and made s more’s for dessert then we relaxed and played some farkle (a really cool dice game) and went to bed we had a great first day……that this is the life.
