YAY it is moving day I am so excited to get to our new spot and get set up. Last night we squared everything away outside screen tent down, bikes in the truck, chairs put away so outside stuff was ready. we woke up bright and early with intentions of leaving at 11 am to get to the new campground it is only about 1 1/2 miles from the current place we are at the stables.
Todd goes outside and starts pulling all the jacks out and getting the trailer ready to move.He dumpers all the tanks at the new campground there is no sewer hook up but every Monday a truck comes and dumps our tanks for us which will not be that bad. I am inside getting everything off the counters, TV prepped and ready to ride and just make sure nothing is going to fall an break. Looks like we are almost ready we have a few things to put inside to fit the animals in the truck.
Todd opens the door and leave it open handing me the things that need to be in here. Keep in mind we have a cat and she just ran out the door 10 minutes before we are leaving we think OH GREAT this is not good she always comes back but she never comes back when you want her to it is on her own time sometime that is like 5 hours :-( Todd is annoyed with me also because I am paranoid about flys being in the trailer and boy was there a lot from the door being open.
We are ready to hook up and pull out of the tricky spot. Thank goodness Todd has been driving truck and trailer for most of his life I had no worries about getting out even tho it looked tricky. Hooked up fingers crossed and he made it look easy he is out of the spot within seconds!!! Head count 3 dogs 2 humans wait..... we are missing 1 cat AHHHH..... Now we are playing the waiting game we pull treats out shake them call her name "OH Spankie here kitty kitty" nothing now we are sitting ducks... 1 hour passes and still no Spankie :-( I just want to get to the new site we will not leave her so we are waiting and waiting. Todd decided that after an hour he was going to go in the trailer and look in the spot that she used to lay in but can not get to anymore....what does he kind well its either a cat or a raccoon crazy cat she had been in the trailer the whole time how she got back there is beyond me she will come out once we get to the new spot...
Off we go to site 41 at Green River State Park on the beautiful lake. No I do not have pictures right not fitting for the moment my camera has went MIA.... and phone does not take great pictures. I will have pictures up when my camera decides to show up again ;-) or when I get a new one who know. Unpacking and setting up goes great and in now time we are laid back in our zero gravity chairs in the screen tent with the pups.. Life is great and I swear this is the last move well the last move in Campbellsville who you kiding we are always on the move HAHAH
